Springtime Engagement

Want to know something so cool about this couple?! Megan and I didn't even realize when she booked with me back in December that we had actually already met before, and I had taken her family's pictures a few years back. Her mom is the one that reminded us! It's so funny just how small the world is!😍

Ryan and Megan were so easy to photograph because they were there just enjoying each other and the beautiful afternoon and fully trusting to follow my lead and come out with some amazing photos that were true to them. Their cute pup, Missy, got her moment to shine during the last part of the session. She was such a sweet dog! I am always glad when couples bring their pets to participate in their session.  

Truly though, I loved every minute of photographing them, including when I didn't take my own advice and ended up falling in the mud, haha! The good news is that it wasn't that bad, and we all got a good laugh, and most importantly, I kept my camera up the whole time because it didn't even touch the ground! I would call that success any day! 😂 

It's unbelievable that God continually blesses me with sweet couples. I can't think of another job that would come close to the fulfillment that job brings me.

The trees are finally starting to green up just a bit, and little things here are there are blooming. Walking around Cadron Settlement Park, you get the distinct, beautiful feeling that spring is about to burst forth in all its glory. And I am here for it!! In my opinion, winter tends to overstay its welcome, and I always long for spring and summer just about the time the holidays are over. To walk outside and hear the frogs singing and that slight hint of warmth in the air makes me so excited for what the days will bring.

Bring on all these springtime Arkansas engagement sessions because I am here for it!
