This Arkansas River elopement was one of a kind! With just myself and their pastor to witness the sweet union, the two of them stood in the Arkansas River and said their vows, took communion, prayed, and even sang praises. Even the sunshine came out to cheer them on while the cold river ran around their feet.

I really love just how non-traditional this little Arkansas wedding was. Makayla and Zachery got ready and rode together to meet me at the courthouse in Van Buren and from there we walked around the downtown for about 30 minutes getting photos of just them together. We then headed to Lee Creek Park right down the road and this is where their ceremony took place. It was beautiful! You can just look at these photos to know that 😍
