Strawberry Bluffs Engagement Session
April and Ian's engagement session was a bit of an adventure on the chilly Strawberry Bluffs in Hagarville, Arkansas. Despite the cold and biting wind, it ended up being a truly memorable experience.
I was glad I had put on a couple of extra layers that day because when we got up on the bluffs it ended up being colder than we thought. We got through it, though, with April and I exchanging my jacket back and forth to ward off the cold.
What made this session even more special was the fact that I have had the privilege of working with April, having met her through our volunteer work at Royal Family Kids Camp. This camp is near and dear to both of our hearts! It is a nondenominational faith-based 5-day camp that creates positive, life-changing moments for children, ages 6 to 12, in foster care who have been victims of neglect, abuse, and abandonment. You can find out more about RFK here. It's incredible how our paths crossed in such a meaningful way, and now, I have the honor of capturing her love story with Ian.
As we carefully ventured through the rugged terrain around Strawberry Bluffs, the breathtaking scenery served as the perfect backdrop for April and Ian's love to shine. The bluffs give you a little over a 180 view that is absolutely incredible any time of year!
As I reflect on this engagement session, I can't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to witness April and Ian's love firsthand. Their upcoming wedding in May promises to be a sweet and lovely celebration of love and the beginning of a beautiful journey together.
I'm eagerly looking forward to their big day!!
