OKay, let's talk about something super charming with an old romantic feel...
Sweet Treats Events Center has got some of the most charming features that I know of in a venue. From the vaulted ceilings, the fine woodwork, and the central fireplace, this building, built-in 1889, is perfect!
The chapel is 2000 square feet and would be amazing for an intimate wedding, bridal shower, and also baby showers, and birthday parties. Located between Fort Smith and Conway it is also convenient for family that doesn't live in the Lamar area to meet up.
Because I'm a photographer, and a wedding photographer at that, I want to come to this venue from the angle of why I would love to photograph a wedding here and how it could complement your wedding.
First off let's just talk about a photographer's favorite thing, light. The light in this building is amazing! It has these old large vintage windows all around the building that lets in this diffused and even lighting. So no matter the weather outside you can guarantee that your portraits are going to be beautiful. Also, the woodwork and old-time style that's inside the church can give off that vintage look which could also make for some unique portraits.
If the weather is not an issue then the chapel has a nice outside yard area where you could get some lovely bridal portraits or artistic bride and groom portraits, or just have a good overflow area for your guests.
The inside centered fireplace would be my choice place for a ceremony background. I mean who doesn't wanna get married in front of a fireplace. Haha but for real it would make for such a lovely background.
Inside the chapel, it has pull-down doors that can make it into two rooms while the bride gets ready and then one big room when the reception starts. How cool is that! See in the last picture!

Basic rental (starting at $140)
For 4 hours will include tables and chairs and kitchen available. Our kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, food warmer, sink, coffee pot, and microwave. Real plates and cups included. Each additional hour will be $35
Basic full day rental (starting at $250)
For 8 hours will include tables and chairs and kitchen available. Our kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, food warmer, sink, coffee pot, and microwave. Real plates and cups included. Each additional hour will be $35
Wedding basic rental will start at $500
From 8 am-midnight day of the wedding. Prior to the wedding rehearsal dinner / decorating will start at $140 for 4 hours. Not earlier than 4 pm. Each additional hour will be $35. The building, tables, chairs, and kitchen are included in the basic price. Our kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, food warmer, sink, coffee pot, and microwave.
