So you're engaged and you want engagement photos, but where?
When you are thinking about the perfect engagement photo spot, you can either pick a place meaningful to you both or ask for your photographer’s favorite spots.
If you have a special spot in mind ( like a first-date location, your favorite café, or a local park you go to walk in, etc ) ask your photographer about it first. They will want to scope it out, get some ideas, and figure out any necessary permissions for photographing.

Something to consider is that while it can be fun to have engagement photos from a meaningful location, we, as photographers, equally love when our couples ask us for our ideas and inspiration.
I know for me I am always driving around and scouting out new or lesser-known photography spots to keep me inspired and different from everyone else. So it is exciting for me when a couple asks for my opinion, and I have a new spot in mind that would be perfect for them as a couple.
