Angie + Lance

Lake Fort Smith Wedding, Mountainburg Arkansas

Love has an amazing way of bringing people together, and for Angie and Lance, their wedding day was a testament to this. Against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Fort Smith, surrounded by their closest friends and family, this couple couldn't have asked for a better way to start on this new path in their life. As their wedding photographer, I had the privilege of capturing the heartfelt moments and creative details that made this celebration truly unforgettable.

Overlooking the glistening waters of Lake Fort Smith behind the visitor center, Angie and Lance chose a picturesque location for their ceremony. The sun shining off of the lake created an atmosphere perfectly complementing the couple's intimate gathering. Nature's beauty was on full display, serving as an amazing backdrop as the couple exchanged their vows.

One of the most awesome aspects of Angie and Lance's wedding was the personal touch infused into every detail. Angie's creativity shone through as she crafted the decor herself, adding a unique touch to the entire event. From the painted wood flowers to the well-placed signage, every element spoke about the couple's love for each other.

Among the many details of the day, the bride's self-made shoes stole the spotlight. They were just so cute! Angie did amazing in designing and crafting her own wedding shoes, and they reflected her personality and style. They showcased her artistic talents and became a conversation starter, leaving everyone oohing and aahing over them.

Angie and Lance's wedding was an intimate affair, with their closest friends and family coming together to celebrate their love. The Black Bear Dinning Hall, chosen as the reception venue, provided a warm and inviting atmosphere for the festivities. Laughter and good conversations filled the air as guests enjoyed the finger foods and took selfies at the super fun photo booth, all while celebrating the newlyweds.

As Angie and Lance's wedding photographer, I had the honor of capturing the best moments throughout the day. From Angie completely surprising Lance by walking down the aisle to the Raider’s Nation Anthem by Zee (which was so fun!) to the fun cake cutting, each click of the shudder bottom of the camera lens froze time, preserving memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

Angie and Lance's wedding was a testament to love, creativity, and the beauty of personal touches. From the stunning location overlooking Lake Fort Smith to the bride's handmade decor and shoes, every detail story their unique story. It was an honor to document their journey, witnessing the love and joy on their special day.
