Wedding Photo Session in Lamar Arkansas
In the midst of the challenging year of 2020, Patricia and Kevin's love prevailed. Despite their wedding plans being changed by the pandemic, they remained determined to capture their love in unforgettable photographs, even though it took us a couple of years to make it work! When Patricia contacted me about her wedding shoot idea, I was thrilled. Having had the opportunity to meet them both a few years before and do their engagement photos on my property in Hagarville, I knew we were in for something special.
Patricia and Kevin share a deep and sweet bond that shines through in their photographs. The magic unfolded when Kevin saw Patricia in her wedding dress for the first time, his eyes filled with pure joy. It was an incredibly touching moment, and I'm grateful they decided to do a first look at the beginning of this portrait session, capturing that raw emotion on camera.
Surrounded by the breathtaking fields stretching into the hills around them, the family property provided a picturesque setting for Patricia and Kevin's wedding photoshoot. Amongst the fields, we discovered a fallen tree that added a unique touch to the scenery. Furthermore, one of the fields had yet to be cut for hay, creating a beautiful contrast with the golden sunlight. Along the fence line, a solitary tree stood tall, offering a captivating element that enhanced the overall backdrop, resulting in truly amazing photos.
During the final part of the shoot, a passing UPS truck stirred up a cloud of dust from the dirt road. Despite Kevin's attempts to flag it down before it reached Patricia and me, the truck continued on its way. Rather than letting the unexpected dust dampen the experience, we decided to embrace it. Surprisingly, this unforeseen element added a unique charm to the bridal portraits, resulting in some of my personal favorite bridal portraits to date!!

In just one hour, we captured a full gallery of stunning images that will undoubtedly be treasured and enjoyed for generations to come.
As their photographer, it was an absolute honor to witness their journey from engagement to wedding photoshoot and translate their unique love into tangible memories that can be cherished forever.
